Built for yielding isometrics, the Resist prioritizes finger pulls for connective tissue health and stiffness and general capacity work. Utilizes a stepped, unlevel design in three ways, height and depth and elevation, with a moderate depth (22-18mm, middle to pinky) and roundover (5.5mm or less) to urge the fingers to develop and maintain a similar amount of flexion across the fingers to hold the edge. This means the Resist is difficult to lose form and extend at the PIP joint under load, keeping efforts consistent and higher quality. For any athletes prioritizing off the ground lifts or using an anchored strain gauge to pull against, the Resist is a highly refined but specialized device: overcoming isometrics and isotonic curls and varied grip positions (and warmups which will often include these) are not recommended.
Available in five different sizes, ten form factors for each size. Made from carbon fiber reinforced PLA and PLA for colorway options with 12 strand HMPE cord.
Additional features across the Organic series includes remodeled finger architecture, unique edge design per finger based on size and form factor, increased minimum breaking strength and cyclical loading strength, “adducting” space to allow fingers to draw together, bowed side walls to prevent accidental nesting, smoothed backing plate to minimize finger tip abrasion, modified texture to provide consistent grip and be easy to brush, tapered outer walls to minimize thumb interference, redesigned cord ports which cinch cord while switching sides while allowing personalized adjustment, asymmetrical layout for improved balance, internal chamfer for finger position feedback, contrast lettering for “left” and “right” orientation, and vibrant colorway options.
